This stunning single-line facility, which has been operational since 2023, has the capacity to process 350,000 tonnes of residual waste per year, diverting it from landfill, while generating sufficient electricity to power 80,000 homes.   The closing date for applications is 4th December 2023.  We encourage all applicants to apply as soon as possible as we may close vacancies early if we receive a high number of applications.

We are proud to generate electricity for Dublin from non-recyclable waste generated in the city and surrounding areas, and we have a track record of high safety and environmental standards.   We are seeking Shift Operators with a desire to work in the power industry. Our operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of boiler auxiliaries, the turbine generator, fans, pumps, ash handling conveyors, scrubbers, bag houses, lime slakers, water treatment systems, waste and ash cranes, and other equipment. We are based in an industrial site in Poolbeg's docks area, and the work entails wearing protective equipment and working outside.
